Terms and Conditions
Participation in the ITech Progress contest is free of charge and subject to these terms and conditions.

Contest procedure
The closing date for entries is 24.11.2023 at 23:59. Users will be able to participate in the contest online until this time. Entries submitted after this time will not be considered.

How to Participate
To participate in the contest, you must complete and submit the entry form. By submitting the entry form, you agree to subscribe to our newsletter. Participation is only possible during the participation period. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.

Only one submitted entry per participant will be entered into the competition. It is strictly forbidden to use multiple email addresses to increase your chances of winning.

Eligible participants
Natural persons whohave reached the age of 14 are eligible to participate. Participation is not restricted to customers of ITech Progress and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services.

If a participant has limited legal capacity, the consent of their legal representative is required.

All persons involved in the conception and implementation of the competition and employees of the operator as well as their family members are not eligible to participate in the competition. In addition, ITech Progress reserves the right, at its own discretion, to exclude persons from participation if there are legitimate reasons, for example

(a) in the event of manipulation in connection with access to or implementation of the competition, (b) in the event of violations of these conditions of participation, (c) in the event of unfair conduct or (d) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the competition.

Winning, Notification and Shipment of Prize
The following prize will be awarded:

A total of 10 conference tickets to the Software Architecture Gathering digital 2023 (2-day conference ticket for November 29-30, 2023) valued at €599. One conference ticket per winner.

The winners will be determined by a random draw among all participants after the closing date. Only participants who have filled out the registration form correctly and truthfully and who have confirmed their registration via the email sent to them will be entered into the drawing.

Winners will be notified immediately by separate e-mail.

The prize will be delivered only to the winner or the legal representative of the minor winner. The prize cannot be exchanged, collected or paid out in cash.

Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize are the responsibility of the winner. The winner is responsible for paying any taxes on the prize.

If the winner does not respond within 2 weeks of being contacted, the prize may be awarded to another entrant.

Termination of the contest
ITech Progress expressly reserves the right to terminate the contest without notice and without giving reasons. This applies in particular to any reason that would disrupt or prevent the contest from running as planned.

Privacy Policy
Participation in the contest requires the submission of personal data. The participant guarantees that the personal data provided, in particular first name, last name and e-mail address, are true and correct.

ITech Progress declares that none of the entrant’s personal data will be disclosed or made available to third parties without the entrant’s consent.

In the event of winning, the winner agrees to the publication of his/her name in the promotional materials used by the Promoter. This includes the announcement of the winner on the Promoter’s website, in the Promoter’s newsletter and on its social media platforms.

The participant may revoke his/her consent at any time. The withdrawal must be sent in writing to marketing@itech-progress.com. After revocation, the collected and stored personal data of the participant will be deleted immediately.

Governing Law
Questions or complaints in connection with the contest should be sent to marketing@itech-progress.com.

The contest is governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.

Severability Clause
Should any provision of these terms and conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally permissible provision that comes as close as possible to the economic sense and purpose of the invalid provision. The same applies in the event of a loophole in these conditions of participation.
