This module for the Certified Professional for Software Architecture – Advanced Level will teach you how to recognize, classify, and successfully implement blockchain applications. You will learn how to transfer traditional methods to blockchain technologies and gain in-depth knowledge of algorithms, cryptographic procedures, and consensus mechanisms. Other topics include smart contracts, permissioned blockchains, and their integration into enterprise systems.

In the “BLOCKCHAIN – Low-Trust Consensus in Decentralized Applications” module, you can expect a practical introduction to blockchain technologies and smart contracts. You will learn how to design decentralized applications, evaluate different blockchain variants, and tackle technical and organizational challenges. The goal is to strategically integrate blockchain solutions into existing systems.

Technical Requirements

There are no specific requirements for the training environment, as the exercises will take place using cloud- and web-based tools such as Miro, Draw.io, and platforms like Jupyter or HuggingFace. A stable and sufficiently fast internet connection is all that is required.
