The way software is conceived, developed, and produced has changed significantly in recent years, especially with the rise of microservices, containers, and container managers. Modern applications must function in a cluster of multiple nodes, be dynamically deployable, scalable, and fault-tolerant.
This iSAQB Cloudinfra Advanced Level training provides the answer to the question: “How do you design and implement dynamic Cloud Native architectures?”. Additionally, the iSAQB Cloudinfra training goes beyond just the reasons for operating in the cloud or the pros and cons of cloud environments. Participants will gain extensive knowledge on topics such as Cloud Native Architectures, Container Application Design, Logging/Monitoring/Alerting, Container Native Storage, and UI Integration possibilities. The course also covers typical concepts of current container managers and demonstrates how common quality requirements for larger web applications can be realized. What can you expect?
In the module “CLOUDINFRA – Infrastructure, Containers, and Cloud Native,” you can expect hands-on insights into modern cloud infrastructures, container technologies, and automation. You will learn how to design scalable and fault-tolerant cloud-native architectures and tackle operational challenges. The goal is to successfully implement innovative solutions for development, operations, and automation.
➤ You should have practical experience in designing and developing small to medium-sized software systems.
➤ Ideally, you have already gained some experience in maintaining or further developing software systems.
➤ You possess basic knowledge of working with containers and their deployment.
➤ Initial practical experience with modern microservice architectures and container managers is an advantage.
➤ Knowledge of common cloud providers and their services will make it easier for you to get started.
Technical requirements
There are no specific requirements for the training environment, as the exercises take place using cloud- and web-based tools like Miro, Draw.io, and platforms such as Jupyter or HuggingFace. A stable and sufficiently fast internet connection is all that is needed.
